Recently, I noticed that the MSR Simmerlite stove was no longer listed on MSR’s website.
I suspected that the stove had been discontinued, but just to be sure, I wrote MSR. Sure enough, the MSR Simmerlite has been discontinued.
While the Simmerlite did NOT simmer and had a reputation of not being the most efficient of stoves, it was reliable, compact, and was one of the lightest white gas stoves out there. Sad to see it go.

Altrec.com had the Simmerlite marked down last I checked ($70 sale price vs. $100 regular). Might be a nice time to pick one up if you were so inclined.
