My best friend is getting married this coming September and asked me to be his best man. Of course this means I need to plan a bachelor party. Most of our friends would enjoy a weekend backpacking trip so that is what I am leaning towards. Any ideas on a good place to go within driving distance of Virginia? We aren't looking to do anything too crazy but would like to see some good scenery and get away from any crowds. Thanks for the help!

No, but I've known a few backpackers who strip. ;=)
I think somewhere in the WV highlands would be tough to beat. A few places come to mind: North Fork Mountain (exquisite views), Dolly Sods (would probably be busy though), Roaring Plains (my personal favorite), and Spruce Knob (excellent swimming hole along Seneca Creek).
