I have been thinking of buying a new foam core pad and the specs on the 40th anniversary edition are pretty interesting. Its thick, has a good R rating, is made from durable materials but its still pretty light.. Question is, has anyone used one?

If so, how does it compare in comfort to a ProLite? Is it twice as comfortable since its twice as thick?

How does it compare in comfort to a NeoAir?

These are the only two pads I currently own, so I would be interested to know how it compares to both of them in comfort..

Thanks ahead of time..

I still have the original version of this, the 3/4 length Deluxe LE. It's very comfortable and insulative, if heavy (24 oz, same as the full length version of the newer one); definitely twice as comfy than the standard Thermarest thickness for me (don't have a Prolite, so I can't say for sure about that one). I might have to check out the newer one myself.

While its defiantly on the heavy side, it looks very comfortable and there should be no worries about durability. I like my NeoAir Trekker but at 4oz more. I just wonder if its more comfortable??
