I plan to do a one day summit of Mt Charleston in late May this year. I have read up about it and am thinking I will do the South Loop Trail. I understand it's about a 12 hour round trip, strenuous hike.
Any advice on temperature/weather that time of year? How much water to carry (I read there is no water sources), any advice? Clothing suggestions?
Thanks
