Trying to find an insulated winter boot that has a nice wide footbox, and still relatively light.
We have tried the following to no avail:
Keen Delta: Too tight, plus we prefer synthetics over leather
New Balance WO1000: Foot box in D width was great, but the rubber support rand along both sides of the arch caused discomfort due to pressure
Garmont Momentum: Too tight
In general, would going up the next half size equate to more width in addition to length?
We're considering Men's boots, but b/c she's a size 6.5-7, we would need a relatively uncommon Men's size 5.5 or so.
Thanks!
