anyone else kinda/sorta hoping/planning to hit up the LT early summer?
it's lookin' like i'll have a week-ish in june, starting around the 10th or so
i'm cool with hiking solo, but good company always cushions the miles
i plan 15's to start, then low-to-mid 20's

The worst black flies I've ever seen were on the LT in June. I doubt you'll get a minute's respite the entire trip.

I'm planning July sometime. probably not that sort of mileage especially to start.
