Hello All

Over the past year or so I have really come to appreicate the cottage industry. Yes, sometimes you have to wait for new gear. This does go against 40 + years of instant gratification consumer pending. I have to say Ron's gear is worth the wait.
Each piece is personalized to my needs!

Here is the important part, customer servive. A couple times my gear was not as I had expected.Ron would make needed changes and return gear asap:)I highly reccommend MLD .

Thanks Jim

+1 to customer service. I've never had any issues with gear or ordering, but any questions I had were promptly answered by Ron.

MLD's wait time, along with a few others is a relatively small price to pay for getting quality gear made not only in the US, but often in homes and garages. That's cool.

(speaking of wait time, I've got around 5 more weeks for my Tim Marshall quilts to arrive :D

"I forgot to mention MLD is made in VA, also where I was made."

I hope your parents also had good customer service from the hospital … you know … in case you were not as they had expected, so that they'd make needed changes and return you asap….. ;-)

How long is the wait time for Tim Marshall (Enlightened Equipment) quilts?

PostedFeb 7, 2012 at 2:22 pm

Around 4 to 6 weeks. Around 5 more weeks for mine as well, hopefully sooner!

One rainy night, the center-pole broke beneath my TrailStar. Before the silnylon had even floated down to the ground, Ron appeared out of nowhere, kneeled beneath the shelter and held it up with his head all night. Now, that's customer service!

(Note: that story may not actually be true).

I did, however, receive the wrong color TrailStar (this was in 2010, I think) from what I ordered. I shipped it back and Ron had a new one to me within a week. That story is true.

Kelly– plenty of extra B.S., hot air, and tom foolery!

LOL @ Steven
