My wife and I are planning on going back to the Winds in the middle of August, leaving from the Boulder Lake TH for 7 or 8 days. The plan is to head toward Lake Victor spending a couple of nights there and then over Hay Pass for a couple of days fishing. My question is about camping spots. Any recommendations on the way to Victor, around Victor and where to camp once crossing Hay Pass?
I was there just through there this past fall. Lots of burned out forest the first day but fine after that. I will put together something more indepth when I am at my keyboard and not typing with my thumbs.
