Hi, wondering what people wear under a drysuit for different temps? Just looking at drysuit layering systems, incl. hands, feet & head. More for whitewater paddling then packrafting…

Here's an idea of what I'd wear under my Kokatat while packrafting class III in temps around 40 F. Assume no precip or excessive wind.

    Powerstretch tights
    Light softshell pants
2x light base layer LS shirts
    Fleece vest
    Fleece hat (under helmet)

Kayakers (or folks with the new Alpacka decks) might need less on the legs as their boats are 100% dry unless they swim.

thanks Dave – just the kind of info I was looking for. Sounds like my Cap1&2 baselayers, R1 top and bottom and R2 vest will be ideal.
Anyone used palmless neoprene mitts, MEC had them and they looked like a nice compromise between warmth and dexterity…
