what kind of fabrics did you use for the pad holder ?

Pad holder is lycra mesh, other materials are 2.2 sil and 30 denier alll from Quest Outfitters.I bought the G4 pattern to use as a basis and then cut it down, moved the pockets around, added the bladder pocket, the Y strap and made some other changes.

Thanks. I wish the pictures had posted better, but it was my first time uploading pictures. I've made a few other MYOG before: Bilgy tent, quilt, rain/wind suit, and a water hauler. But I found the pack to fairly involved and I got ahead of myself more than once and had to break out the seam ripper.

Thanks. Can you explain to me how to put lines between the pictures so that the pictures are not all connected?

I assume you clicked the "Insert Image at Cursor" which creates a bunch of html text

between the html text for each image, position the cursor and press the "Enter" key

Here's a hint to get your pictures to display separately rather than run together horizontally.

Go to the bottom of your post and click on edit (the pencil icon). Your post is displayed at the top of the edit page. At the bottom of the edit page is a window into the code that generates your post.

Find each '<img' in the code and make sure it starts on a separate line by adding a return in front of it.

It should end up looking something like this(ignore any other differences in spacing):

This my first MYOG pack. Let me know what you think. The bare weight of the pack without any padding is 14.3 oz, with the sit pad and hip and shoulder pads inserted it weighs 16.2 oz. Add the aluminum stay and it is 19.9 oz.

Pack volume is around 3300 ci, depending on how you measure the extension collar.

Click on the 'Post Message' button at the bottom.

If that gets messed up you could simply copy and paste the above into the edit window.
