Finetrack, a very new company founded by former MontBell designers who wanted even more functional clothing, especially for “sawanobori” (or “shower climbing”) (here too), have really amazing products. Last November I bought a pair of their Floodrush TIghts and T. I used it on some very cold, rainy days, and just as the photos as the top of the page show, water ran off the surface like water off a duck’s back, and yet the material is completely breathable.
Their underwear is quite amazing, too, and does great in very wet conditions. I feel that clothing dedicated to sawanobori, where you often have to negotiate through ice-cold mountain water, is perfect for people looking for solutions to really wet, cold conditions… clothing that dries really fast.
Take a look at their tarp, too.
