I just recieved my Yankz sports shell this morning. I have to say im quite impressed. I gave it a preliminary water test, ie i blasted water from the tap onto a stretched piece of the fabric for 2 mins. the only place i found leakage after 2 mins was through the seams which could easily be sealed if time permits. the jacket is windproof from what i can see with the use of a home fan on high. breathability seems to be ok ive been wearing it for an hour in a heated room and havent felt uncomfortable at all. who else has one of these jackets? i really think everyone should have a try of one. for $10 how can you go wrong for a 2.7 oz (M) piece of tyvek. depending on further tests i could see this quickly becoming part of my sub 5lb base pack for 4 season use in australia.

Only hits were definitely unrelated to a WPB UL shell.
Can you re-post with a URL please?
Many thanks,

http://www.yankz.com/sorry about not posting a link.
i wore it all day and even did a bit of exertion in it and still didnt feel uncomfortable. also maybe check out http://www.driducks.com which also has ultralight rain/wind wear. i believe http://www.gossamergear.com will be selling them in the near future.

didn’t look close enough b/f posting my prev. msg. Was at the ‘Yankz’ site & fixated on the lacing system. So, didn’t take notice of link to the rainwear.
thanks again & take care.

I am planning on buying the DriDucks suit, but may change my mind and get this jacket instead… if it seems to measure up… -
