If I return something I bought mostly with dividends and partially with cash, will I be getting an actual refund or store credit? I bought a sleeping bag and really want a go lite synth quilt now… but REI doesn't carry them.

I'm not sure. But if you call or log onto their live chat on the website they should be able to easily answer your question, and that way you will know you have the correct answer. I suspect store credit though.
I'm not sure. They might give you cash since technically you can cash out your dividend.
Oh right, they are supposed to give you cash after July. Thanks, didn't think of that.
They will either give you cash or credit a credit card if you one on hand. Since we have an REI CC if I return a Dividend bought item I just say "put it back on the card" and they are happy with it. Getting cash back can be tricky if you go early in the day as well…….
My husband bought a backpack last year using dividend money from REI. He ended up returning it and they gave him cash back.
