My bag is a cheap one but I won it in a give away, free is always good. It is a Suisse Sport +35 bag. So far I have had no real issues with it. Used it twice, one was down to 45 maybe and the other was 50ish. Almost too warm for me, perhaps I run warm. My only complaint is it is a little tight in the shoulders but it is not that big of a deal. Not sure I can stick my boots in the foot box at night though, but I can work through that for this trip.
I have a Ridgerest sleeping pad. Comfy enough and is was cheap…seeing a theme here lol. I plan on making some pot cozies and might take any excess material from the sunshade and bring it along to stick under my bag. Might help. I have a tent so I will be out of the wind for the most part.
