Help requested from flashlight/headlamp geeks

PETZL TIKKA XP2

1) good performance down to -20F – Pretty sure that any conventional headlamp should suffice although, I would sleep with it at night, or keep it in a pocket at this temperature.

2) flood light for camp chores – This headlamp has a flood feature that works amazingly in camp for chores.

3) spotlight for night hiking … 50 yard “range” – my personal requirement for this one is that I need to see to hang a bear line in the dark. This headlamp gets that done for me, personally.

4) rechargeable batteries – Petzl offers the USB rechargeable option that snaps right into this inside of this headlamp. Making it rechargeable and controllable.

5) lightest weight is irrelevant if the previous criteria are failed – Headlamps are pretty light within themselves. Take a good one, and you will be happy.

Lithium batteries for cheap. You'll never pay retail again."

A huge +1 CR123A's, Panasonic, Duracell, etc, for less than $2.00. All other batteries as well.

I use the zebralight h51 which I am very happy with.

I also have a fenix hp10 that I use when I need more throw and to which I can add a red or flood filter. It is heavier though you do get more runtime.

Since I travel I decided to go with the use of rechargeable AA batteries since most of my gear use AA or AAA , widely available.

It's also why I'm going to return my unused but bought at a good price steripen opti for the usb version (which is still lithium inside).

I'd love to get some rechargeable lithium batteries (at the very least I'd know I'd have a full charge before going out) but don't know which charger to buy – looking over at the cpf forums they all seem to have problems..
