I was very excited today when my late Christmas present arrived, the TiGoat EPIC bivy. The following pictures may answer some questions that you have about it. Each picture shows teh bivy with a 30 degree sleeping bag and GG tosro-lite pad.

Weight is shown in ounces, though this is without the shock cord that seemed very useless to me, I used spectra line.

This is merely for scale purposes, to show that it packs down very small.

Here is the configuration with only the bug net up. The other side of the net is to be tucked under the sleeper. It seems very stable and it coveinetly fold out of the way for when it isn't needed.

This is the same set-up in more detail.

This is with the zipper fully closed.

Same set-up with more detail.

My first impressions are all positive. it seems well designed, has plenty of space for me (6 feet 185 lbs) as well as some gear to be stored (shoes, clothes, camera). Anyway, i was excited and I hope taht you found this to be helpful
