Does anyone know a source for m50 or a ripstop similar to m50 in it's breathability and weight being that thru-hiker is out of stock?
I would really like to make a jacket similar to my Houdini that is a half zip and has some other differences.

Titanium Goat’s SevenD and KG-8D are very similar.
Anyone have any experience using either of these in a wind-shirt application? Are they considerably more breathable than say M90?
The KG-8D is very breathable, with minimal water resistence. The new(2012, currently available)SevenD is comparable in wind and water resisitence to the 20D Intrepid, old M90, OWFINC .9ounce ripstop, Quarqtex, etc. It is pretty amazing for its weight.
