Those maps look sweet! Nice little MYOG project. You gonna use that technique on the for PCT section maps?

I'd love to, but halfmiles maps are about 380 pages, i wouldn't have time even if I had the inclination. The ink cost would be too high on my printer at home anyway.

it would work great for sections though.

Yea that video did look time consuming, for a weekend trip were you have one or two pages I could see it being worth the effort, but 380! hell no. Haha.

The card was Yum Yum's idea, I have to give her the credit for spear heading that effort. I will pass on the well wishes.

Probably won't work for topo maps which must include fine details.

"Choose a map without fine detail or small fonts. There will be some granularity loss due to the nature of the process. Also, reduce the size of of the map. Remember the plastic film does not extend to the edges of the paper so maps should be less than a full sheet of letter paper."
