Just curious if anyone on here has any experience with the Kelly Green 8D from titanium goat(.67oz).

I have some momentum90 from thru hiker for a quilt kit that I am planning on finally putting together, but I am considering using this stuff instead. Save about 3oz Im guessing. The price seems fairly good as well.

How does it compare to M90(1.1oz)? DWR, hand, downproof etc.

The black 7D (.64oz) looks nice but the price difference between the two is fairly steep for a .03 weight savings. $22 vs $7.50

How would it fair if used for a down vest or jacket?

Does it hold up well being washed in a machine?

Thanks

IIRC this is the 8D fabric purchased through a BPL group buy. There’s a thread around here somewhere with details.

Found it

It was a group buy here.

Right now I have made a pair of karo step down pants out of my 10 yards. I have plans for a karo quilt, and the lining on a synthetic insulation vest. I would say it is very similar to m90 but lighter obviously .67oz/sq.yd. is accurate, and less windproof.

oops didn't see that Chris had already posted the link. My bad.
