I have been having fun testing out a new Firemug the last couple of weeks. It is shorter and fatter than any of my other stoves but holds a lot of wood.
The top is 2-7/8" so it works best for pots a little wider than that. thinking of calling it "the stump". Without the plastic inner It weighs 2.9 oz and the windscreen adds .5 oz
I drink my coffee out of them everyday when they are not in woodburning mode.

the stump

testing a lighter gauge of titanium foil for the windscreen. I cant figure out how to post a link to youtube on BPL

it needs some good tunes playing in the background.

Nice, I like the shape and size. Just right for boiling 2 cups of water with twigs stacked vertical and top lit. Hope you make some available soon. I'm in for one.

This one is new and I am still tinkering with the best way to pack it. It really depends on what pot you use. the clips and foil shown in the video havent been cut down to fit this stove/pot yet. The length of foil for each screen is custom for a range of pots similar in diameter. the height is custom to the stove so it rolls up and nests inside if possible. I made a pot that this stove nests inside but its a big pot. (4cups) and also figured out that a SP600 nests inside the stove. It would fit better with no handles. I hope to get a new camera cord soon for some new pics, but I have some old photos of other stoves.

I make many different sizes and configurations. They all work great for bigger pots but I am usually working on my solo setup.

This top one has had over 500 fires made in it. Everything shown in the 2nd picture is packed inside. It nests tightly in a BPL Trappers mug.

I think that's great-looking, and I like the beefy (durable) stainless steel shell! I checked out all the videos I can find on youtube… do you have a webpage with these things on them?

That's very clever. I get those kinds of mugs from time to time, last one was a free gift from my bank. I don't ever drink out of them (have my favorite coffee mug situation sorted) and this looks like a great way to upcycle them into something actually useful.

Thanks a lot. I do have a couple of domain names …. thefiremug.com and firemug.com but I havent had a chance to get much farther than the home page. I have been selling them through a friends archery business when he travels to shoots and also locally.
I should have some on his website in the next couple of weeks. BigJimsbowcompany dot com
Ive gone to a couple of music festivals and sold some. that was fun but many of the attendees did not need access to fire in their state of mind.
There are many different sizes and configurations.
they range in weight from 1.8 oz up to 3.5 for the largest ones. (minus the inner cup)
All of them can be staked to the ground with no base.
I have some of the larger 28fl oz cups that I call the Original Firemug for sale on Bplite.com and there are some pictures there in the "new and used gear for sale" forum.
Ive posted several videos there for stove testing and I hope to post pictures and additional info there for the new stove and all of the others that I am currently making. I have a youtube channel under the name Cadyak.
