I am currently in the process of designing a shelter for use whe the weather conditions get ugly or when an accident occurs. Please post your ideas for where the product could go i.e features, needs, definate no-go areas etc..

nice one, u sound realllly cool
just a brainstorm of ideas, i didn't spend a lot of time on this.
– light, compact
– self contained
– puncture/tear/flame resistant
– high vis
– retains heat
– many ways to pitch/use it (tarp, bivy, etc)
– can be integrated with local materials (for insulation, structure, etc… basically could be integrated into a debris shelter)
– if you are going to market/sell this consider printing a survival guide on the outside
– can be used for first-aid applications (multi use)
