I'd like to try using a thin pair of neoprene socks as vapor barrier socks this winter. (Turkey-size oven bags work well, other than my feet sliding in them constantly.) The neoprene insulation value is irrelevant. I just want something which blocks water vapor.
It seems there are a wide variety of neoprene socks. Some of them are breathable, and others are waterproof. It looks like I'll need some type of sock made for divers, but I know nothing about neoprene diving clothing.
Questions:
What do I need to look for to find a thin, waterproof neoprene sock?I've read that several have tried them and liked them. Did anyone not like them?
