Just an FYI to anyone out there. I just received two of the stays from SMD. The dimensions listed on there site are 12" x 1/4" x 24" and it's weight is stated as 4.0oz
It measures out to be a hair over 10 1/2" x 1/4" x 24" and weighs in at 124.0g or 4.37oz (each)
I have not contacted SMD about this as I do not think it is a substantial issue. Just wanted to let others know.
It works out better for my next project but will take some tweaking of my design for my current one, oh well.
Delivery was prompt, price reasonable and they seem to be fairly sturdy for what they are.
Also FYI they flex outward and inward fairly easily so would not be difficult to meet 12" wide or less than 10.5" wide, just would not be straight up an down from top to bottom.
