Anyone have experience with both of these jackets? I'm trying to decide between one or the other and understand the Xenon is a few ounces lighter, yet for some reason it feels much loftier. Is there more insulation in the arms, possibly? Or is it just the tighter cut? Overall just curious if people prefer one over the other. Good comments on the Nano on various threads but the Xenon is still relatively new…

I like the xenon. Its a great backpacking piece. Its lighter and it felt to me a touch warmer than the nano, but they are pretty close. It is loftier than the nano for sure due to the boxes which hold the insulation in place on the nano, but loft is not a great determinate of warmth for primaloft. I got one off Steep and Cheap, but passed it on to a friend b/c it felt a little too techy and shiny for around town use (gotta be double use for a minimalist dirt bag;)
