I had a friend sew up a waterproof sock based upon the Rocky Gore-tex socks made out of ToughTek and 2 layer eVent with a drawcord on top instead of elastic. I am getting them to make me a pair using 3 layer eVent and before I get them sewing is there possibly a different pattern I should use?
Nov 16, 2011 at 9:51 am #1802401I don't have any pattern advice, but I'm very interested in these 3-layer eVent socks. Your friend must own or work for a business that uses 3-layer eVent, I guess. Would they consider making more of them (I would buy two pairs if they were seam-taped or otherwise sealed)?
