Got my Firelite 500 today..1st impressions

"Don't be fooled by a lid that seems too big – press down firmly with your thumbs, and it has a nice tight fit. "

I own two of them, and the above statement is true. The only problem I have is when I release my thumbs, the lids pop off. On another subject, what's the deal with the pricing? It gives me very little reason to order new products.
