That'll make REI the price of everywhere else!
But seriously, thanks. Hope you can buy more than one!

I think it'll come in the form of a gift card, which means you'd be able to use it at their garage sales. If that's possible, that would add up to some pretty amazing savings. Who knows though, I'm sure there will be some restrictions.

That would make for a cheap little stockpile of Probars.

It's available today and there are pretty much no restrictions except that you have to use it before April 29, 2012. Can be used online, can be used at REI outlet, can be used on sale items.

Can be purchased here:
https://www.google.com/offers/home

The fine print:

Limit 1 per person and 1 per order. Valid toward sale items and shipping. Offer is $15 for $25 to spend toward outdoor gear at REI ($15 customer paid value and $10 promotional value). Paid value does not expire, promotional value ($10) expires: April 29, 2012. Offer valid at REI stores, REI Adventures, REI Outdoor School, REI.com and REI-OUTLET.com. Nontransferable and not redeemable for cash, except where required by law. Not valid for previous purchases. Will not be refunded or replaced if lost or stolen.

If you change the city that in Google Offers, it will allow you to buy another…

16,700 +/- sold so far
x $15 = $250,500
That would have been a whole quarter's worth of sales from the outdoor retailer I used to work at (now closed in partial thanks to an REI opening down the road, se la vie/RIP).

Reports on a few deal sites I frequent are that you can purchase up to 8 coupons per google account by changing the offer city, the restriction appears to be regional so you just keep changing the city until it lets you purchase again. Furthermore that you can enter mulitple codes at order check-out on REI.com.
This looks like a pretty good deal since it applies to the Outlet and sale items as well.

That 16,000 or whatever number you're seeing is just your city–so multiply that by every outdoors city in America. It's probably more like 100,000-125,000.
