Some of you may recall Erin and Hig's 4000 mile trek from Seattle to Unimak Island, which was featured here a few years ago.
They are currently spending a couple of months on the Malaspina Glacier here in Southeast Alaska, and have brought their two wonderful children along for the trip! They admit that their ultra-light days are on hold, but still I think we could all learn a bit from their experience, especially those with children.
