I'm getting some great results from the Ricoh GX200 I bought last week.

It's a much lighter option than the Olympus E410 I got last month. I'm looking forward to testing the aftermarket 2x telephoto lens I ordered.
I especially like the full manual control and the ability to set up the camera for essentially zero shutter lag. In fact, I was a bit early with the shutter here, being so used to autofocus lags with other compact digicams.
Every camera brand has to have some sort of "hook" to stand out.
Apart from some quirky designs, Ricoh opted years ago for short shutter and AF lag.
If I remember correctly, one of their models could take a picture even before you pressed the button.
