They are very reusable. And I'd thought the newer stuff was much "friendlier" anyway.

my cup of choice these days is Big Lots plastic cup that weighs 1.4 oz and i made a cozy out of a neoprene netbook protector.
"if the cozy tipped the scales at 1.5oz then you'd barely be saving weight for your troubles"
The bubblewrap cozy I made for a 2C ziplock bowl is non-detect on my scale (<0.05 oz).
