I am particularly interested in how it compares to the Prolite 3, they are identical in measurements (20x72x1.0)and the Prolite is only 1 oz heavier at 20oz. The question is whether or not POE uses the same aggressive coring pattern that is found in the Prolite, which I think is just not that comfortable and usually wake up with numb legs as a result. Thanks!

these pads are brandnew and I would be very surprised if someone has already any experience with them.
Info I got from POE suggests that the foam pattern is the same as that from the Bozeman Mountain Works Torsolite (which is actually produced by POE). Comparing the pattern on my Torsolite with the pattern in pictures from the AO lite seems to confirm that. Direct comparisons by others here on the forum between a Torsolite and a T-a-R Prolite 3 have suggested that the Torsolite feels firmer and warmer than the T-a-R which makes me believe that the AO Lite als) should have superior properties compared to the T-a-R.
I didn't realize they were brand new-I feel like a failure as a gearhead:) I have read the same about the comfort of the Torsolite and that is exactly the info I was looking for. Thanks Tom.

I have used the AO lite. Very comfortable. The air core tubes do keep you on the pad as designed. I have also used the BPL Torso lite. About the same comfort.
