Hi, Everyone.
The title pretty much sums it up. Something not super-difficult and not snowy (I don't know what the Sierra is like this time of year.)
Also, are there parts of the Sierra where rain is less likely in late Oct.?I welcome your recommendations.

Famous for the fall colors. Returned from there yesterday; the aspens up high are just now turning. Probably good for another 2 weeks at least.
If you have a 3rd day, you can use it to do a day hike from Paradise Valley up to Castle Dome Meadows. More aspen.
