I'm amazed at how stupid that guy was with the cigarette lighting… Talk about going blind.
It looked like a 405 nm laser (blu-ray) those things can be pretty powerful.
I've always wanted to build my own laser pointer… until i discovered laser pointer forums…(think bpl for laser pointer people) thats when i discovered what i really wanted was a 450 nm 1 W laser… And then my budget wasn't quite on par.
