Thanks for the trip report and the pictures. Looks like you guys had a great time. Sorry you didn't see any bears to add to the excitement, but sounds like a walking stick was enough to keep you in touch with nature.
Great to see the leaves are turning… looks far, FAR prettier than it was when I was there recently. Trees were only starting to get hints of yellow in a few places — nothing like the brilliant colors you had.
I wish you well on your future adventures.
