I have been seriously considering this bag. i was hoping we would see a gear review (hint,hint) soon.
Yes, I saw it on their website a couple of weeks ago, I am planning on ordering one this week. Hopefully it actually is that light,it will cut my current bag's weight in half. Not that my WM highlight is that heavy though.
What are you planning on wearing with the 3/4 bag at night?
This would be a great quilt when paired with a BMW Cocoon Hoody, Montbell Thermawrap, Nunatak Skaha, Patagonia Puffy Coat, et al.
I notice in Nunatak's photos of the quilt they have the sleeping bag pulled inside the jacket. Depending on the size of your sweater/jacket there would be some compression of the quilt's loft on your tummy and chest. Having the quilt outside would eliminate this but would be negatively affected by more chance of a draft getting in as you moved around.
I plan on using either my feathered friends hyperion jacket or my montbell thermawrap jacket, which ever one seems to match up better with the quilt.
