Since the recent flurry of wool interest and as a user of a lot of wool products I've found that the Craft Pro Warm is what I'm reaching for the most this year. It's 60% poly and 40% merino wool with an air channel structure that trap warm air near the skin, sorta like the fishnet or waffle weave theory. Head to head they are warmer then anything else in their weight.
They also seem to work better in aerobic conditions when your kicking off some steam.
