I have an Osprey Exos and I find it to be really noisy with every movement. I think it's the back mesh rubbing on the metal frame. It's really annoying; constantly creaking. Any advise on how to reduce the noise? Does it go away with time?

Mine starts squeaking but stops within a few steps. It was worse when I tried carrying a heavier load with it.

I had the same problem with my stratos which has the same kind of mesh, contoured back and stays. I ended up getting rid of it…

Neither my Exos 58 or 46 make any unusual noises at all. I can't imagine such squeaks are endemic to the design.

I had that problem with an old Stratos, and I found on the internet somewhere (I've forgotten where now) that silicone lubricant will take care of that problem for you. I never got to try it as one of the fiberglass struts on the frame failed quickly, and I returned it.
