To view all pins on one page, click here: http://goo.gl/maps/6lxQ
To Edit:
1: Log into your Google account (this is necessary).
2: Go here: http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF&msa=0&msid=217710768001213283190.0004ac9ffae6ae244e691
3: Click "Edit."
4. Click on the blue pin button, and then drop your pin.
5. Edit your info in the pin's pop-up detail bubble (not somewhere else): I'd use a non-specific location (e.g. No—I don't actually live on Jeld-Wen field), and include a link to your profile for PMing, rather than email, as to not encourage the spambots. The map is set for anyone to edit, and anyone with a link to see.
Also, please be careful not to drag and drop someone else's pin elsewhere—for some reason Google allows this even outside the edit mode.
Let me know if anything needs changing. All credit goes to Bryce, who thought to make this.

Sep 14, 2011 at 7:26 am #1779431"a few people have renamed the map as themselves"
I guess I can't follow instructions if there aren't pictures. I accidentally renamed the map. I don't recall what it was originally so I called it the 'BPL Member Map'. If there was a description it will need to be reentered.
Sorry!
Sep 14, 2011 at 3:00 pm #1779592Where are all the New Englanders?

Sep 14, 2011 at 7:45 pm #1779685Can there be a link to this added on the BPL website?
Sep 14, 2011 at 8:10 pm #1779691Never mind. I figured it out.
Sep 14, 2011 at 8:18 pm #1779694I'm on there, this side of the border.
Sep 18, 2011 at 9:06 pm #1780721Bump.
Let's get a link on the home page.
Sep 19, 2011 at 10:18 pm #1781093I was wondering when something like this would pop up. Great idea! Looks like I'm the only one in the OC so far…
Sep 20, 2011 at 2:36 pm #1781290Would someone be so kind as to add a marker for me in hemet, ca…..
Sep 20, 2011 at 3:12 pm #1781304Done. Joseph

Sep 23, 2011 at 9:58 am #1782560When I pull up the map I see member info on the left but no markers on the map. What's up?
Sep 23, 2011 at 3:00 pm #1782728I got the same thing…
Guessing operator error or I'm not clicking some button or something…

Locale: Founder & Lead Moderator, https://www.facebook.com/groups/SierraNorthPCThikersThere has to be more people in upstate NY than shown. Plus not a single person from MN (where I used to live). Let's have those two states well represented on the map, eh?
Sep 23, 2011 at 3:47 pm #1782756When I open with Firefox I see the markers, but when I open with Internet Explorer I don't see them, so it might be a browser issue.
Sep 24, 2011 at 10:26 am #1783046welp, managed to save my location twice… only one pin but duplicate entries on the member list – I don't want to mess something up so I will leave it to someone else? sorry
Sep 24, 2011 at 10:44 am #1783049fixed.
Sep 26, 2011 at 5:13 pm #1783810This is a great idea, thanx for starting the member map. I'm another one behind the 'orange curtain' in California, we get the nice weather but have to drive hours to get into the Sierra's.
Sep 26, 2011 at 5:37 pm #1783818This is a great idea that could potentially open up many other ideas! Another bump for Orange County!
Sep 26, 2011 at 7:07 pm #1783842At least you're not boxed in by the Cheese Curtain. It would take 30+ hours to get to the Sierra's for me!
