Excellent cautionary tale, Chris. You dodged a bullet on that one.
What a tough experience. I am glad you got out okay, because this sounds as if you were in some real danger there. Thanks for writing a report about it – reading stories about things gone wrong can be much more educational than sucess stories.

+1 But devilishly hard to keep in mind when you're really out on the edge, often until it's too late. You did an excellent of explaining that dynamic in your write up. I hope this one gets widely read.
