    howdy all,
how to add eyelets to my new go-lites?
the wide toe box is unparalleled and they ARE convincingly light
(and far less chinsy than expected, though the true test is yet to come).
the task: has anyone else experienced their lacing system a bit displaced?
super long laces (exceedingly so), and yet lacking those necessary eyelets to dial the fit.
a suggested way to insert your own eyelets without botching it?
    (think: smooth, like butter).
i realize i could be dreaming.
    many thanks.

You can buy an eyelet tool. Try Tandy Leather or a craft store. It's basically like a pliers but has a tool to both punch a hole and crimp the eyelet. It's not terribly easy to get the eyelet perfect but you can do a passable job with it.

You might have better lock with small "Grommets". The eyelets I've used, due to the one sided nature, which split the protruding cylinder into 4 pieces during the crimping process, I've never found to be very stable.
