    warmer I use none. temps near the rating of the quilt I use not only straps but use the neck tie to cinch it up around my neck.

    I sleep cold however.

    I did use the neck tie (the temps were in the mid- upper 30's), the bottom side just above the foot box has a small elastic strap that is sewn in, between those two features the straps seem to be somewhat superfluous
