I have Caldera Keg F that I use with Esbit. I love it.
However, has anyone ever tried to used it as a wood burner? I realize I can walk out into my backyard and try it but I was just curious if anyone has used one to boil their water using wood and how well it worked.
I could care less about soot, black build up etc.
Thanks.

If it is Ti, you are fine.(Aluminum pots work because they are usually filled with water, keeping the temperature below 212°.)
