Cilo Gear has announced some new packs that they’ll be rolling out soon. A lot of the links aren’t working yet, but the blog has some info.
I’ve been eyeing one of these to use as my main bag for a 10-month trek in Mongolia. They’re not ultralight (especially by BPL standards), but they do seem very light for their durability, volume, and load-carrying capacity.
I clicked on the Backpacks link and those look really nice. I've tried a few ultralight packs and haven't found one I can stand yet. Maybe I have bad shoulders or something, but I just can't take a light pack without feeling the pain later. My Lowe Alpine Vision 40 looks similar in style and weight to those Cilo, and they certainly looks really nice. Can't wait till they get the new ones online… let me know when they do! Any pics anywhere?
