    Locale: Western Washington

    While I was at Costco the other day, I happened on a product I'd never seen before. It's a combination of lentils, adzuki beans and mung beans that have been sprouted, then dried. Looked like a quick way to make lentil/bean dishes for backpacking, as they say the beans are ready in 5 minutes. Soups, salads, it just looks way too versatile.

    Locale: Homesteading On An Island In The PNW

    Try them at home first….I had sprouted and dried lentils from a company I like (they make the quinoa that Costco sells) and OMG…..GAG. They were so gross tasting.
    Of course I am sure there are plenty who love them though, lol!
