So for my general non-trail specific gear lists I've stopped labeling them by seasons since 3 season in the SE can easily leave you freezing for 3 season in the NW. I have started labeling by the temperature degree they can take me to at night. I feel like this is more indicative of how I will use each list. I've finally gotten my 30 degree gear list down to what I think I want it to look like once I've purchased everything.

BTW I am designating my lists 30-15-0 degrees and I'm curious if other people think that these are good temp points to go with or if they need a bit of tweaking and will this cover me just about everywhere I could hike in the Continental US.
