first time posting so hopefully this is the right place.
My girlfriend and I have been car camping and are just moving into Backpacking. We want to do a 2 night backpacking trip in the King's Canyon area which wouldn't be beyond our limits. We've both done a lot of research, will have appropraite supplies (i hope) and we've been running 3-4 miles every other day.
What to do a beautiful hike with water access so we can try to fish.
Was leaning towards Deadman's Canyon and Ranger Meadows as it looks great, but I dont think we would have enough time to do it without backtracking (which wouldnt be the end of the world).
Let me know what you guys think, time frame to go would be in about 1.5-2 weeks.
