I just bought an MSR MiniWorks® EX Microfilter at a community yard sale for $1.00!!!! Far as I can tell, this has never been used. So excited that I just had to share with someone. Can't wait to get out in the woods and try this puppy out.

1 dollar? Are you kidding me?
I just recently got one for my birthday. It's bulky and heavy, but works really nice. If you have a lot of water sources around, it's worth carrying it over an extra liter of water and will get the job done pretty quickly. A lot better than some gravity one or chemicals, if you don't mind an extra pound.
