Where to get nylon?

Anyone out there have any suggestions or experience using 1.1 oz silnylon vs the momentum fabrics from Thru-hiker.com? I'm probably looking at Momentum 55.

I would consider adding a small loop of grosgrain to both sides and then running something like the small z chord from zpacks through it to lash it to your pad. This would be lighter, easier, cheaper, and allow you to remove it if wanted.

If you’re leaning towards M55 from thru-hiker you should seriously consider SevenD from Titanium Goat instead. By all accounts it is softer and it is lighter.

+1 on this idea. The golite quilts come with this arrangement and I find it works very well..

Plain ripstop nylon can be had at Hancock Fabric or Jo-Ann's fabric. Both usually have a 40-50% coupon active.

Hm I don't see z-chord on zpacks website. Is that like bungie cord?

Just use some grosgrain and that. Sounds like a good combo.
