This is a long shot, but does anybody here recognize this picture? I found it randomly on the net. I could swear it looks just like some place in northern California, way up north. It looks like gold country, maybe siskiyou or kalamath area. I could be totally wrong though. This lake just looks amazingly beautiful. Anybody know anything about this pic?
I own no rights to this picture and I don't know who took it.

I have very little on which to base this (as I haven't been there in years) but it reminds me of Lake Crescent in Washington.
Possibly. Thanks for the response. On BushcraftUSA a guy mentioned Greendrop Lake in Chilliwack Lake Provicila Park. British Columbia.
This looks a lot like Panda Lake in China.
I think its from the Jiuzhaigou Valley in China

Edit: oops, I see Yuki beat me to it
Edit2: WOW, this place is gorgeous. http://www.worldsnationalparks.com/jiuzhaigou-valley-china/

which is the same shot, diff season. do a google images search.
great colored water. a more turquoise/Caribbean blue than the other lakes mentioned too. white sand in foreground may help to bring that motif/coloration out.
CHINA????
Well, I wasn't expecting that guys. But thank you for the info.
