Marzipan is usually gagging sweet, but we found an import from Italy this weekend that I could actually take with me on the trail and munch away on.

I found it at my local natural food store. It wasn’t cheap, it is nearly $10 for a shy 9 ounces. The brand is BIA Stramondo. It slices with a butter knife and is fantastic tasting. All it contains is two types of almonds and raw cane sugar (100% organic).
